CONFIRMATION 2010

Dear Parents,

We would like to extend a very sincere welcome to both candidates and families to the Confirmation Programme in Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish.  We encourage you to participate as much as possible and we look forward to meeting you during the year.

Confirmation Day: Saturday 24th April at 3.00 pm.


If you would like to join the Confirmation Programme and have not already received an Application Form through the schools, please collect a Form from the Parish Office as soon as possible.

Programme for Confirmation 2009-2010


October 2009            Delivery of Confirmation booklets.

                                 First Parents’ Meeting, Thursday 15th October, 8pm in the Villa Pacis.


November 2009        First Confirmation Preparation Mass

                                 Saturday 14th November, 6.30pm (Ms Coyne/Ms. Healy)  



                                  Guided Meditations

25th and 26th November.

Guided Meditations will take place during school time either in the Villa

Pacis in Queen of Peace or the side chapel in Holy Redeemer.

The children will be escorted to and from the venues by their teachers.





January 2010             Second Parents’ Meeting

                                     Thursday 14th January, 8pm in the Villa Pacis.



                                     Second Confirmation Preparation Mass

                                     Wednesday 20th th January, 6.30pm (Ms. O Dwyer/ Mr McGovern)              



                                Enrolment Mass

                                Saturday 23rd January, 6.30pm

        

                                     Faith Friends Programme begins

                                     Monday 25th January, 9am in the Villa Pacis.



February 2010         Faith Friends programme continues until 24th February



                                                 Third Confirmation Preparation Mass

                                 Saturday 27th 6.30pm (Ms McKeon/ MsDonnelly/ St Andrew’s)



March 2010              Glendalough March 2nd /4th /5th /10th /11th /12th



April 2010                 Rite 2 and Rehearsal

                                    Thursday 22nd April 7.30pm in the church.



Confirmation Day: Saturday 24th April, 3pm





                                     Final Liturgy

                                Tuesday 27th or Thursday 29th April in the church.
