Viatores Christi (Travellers for Christ) is a voluntary
Catholic Lay Missionary Association, who recruit, prepare and place people
wishing to work in areas of need in Africa, Asia, Central and
Latin America as well as parts of the
USA and Europe. The Association has been in operation for 45 years, and has sent 1,230 volunteers abroad on assignment during that time. They are seeking to recruit resiliant. dedicated, generous people who are interested in a challenge and offer a part-time preparation programme, prior to overseas assignment. Skills that are
particularly needed include: doctors, nurses teachers, trades people of all
kinds, agriculturalists, lab technicians, administration staff and pastoral,
youth and community development workers.
