Dublin Archdiocese true financial situation

Recent Media reports have given a distorted view of the financial situation of the Dublin Archdocese. The true situation was outlined at several recent area meetings addressed by the Archbishop and the Diocesan Finance Director.

THE PIONEER ASSOCIATION

The Annual Pioneer Mass will be held in our Church (Queen of Peace)
on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:30pm.

Pioneers who are due to receive gold or silver pins should contact any member of the Pioneer Council immediately.
Also, anyone who would like to join the Association can do so at this Mass.
Pioneers and friends are invited to attend.

CONFIRMATION 2012

Confirmation Prayer Cards

Prayer Cards for this years Candidates will be left on a table in the Church. We would like to ask the parishioners to take one & pray for the young person named on the chosen card, then return the card to the table before you leave.

The children from St Andrew's, St. Cronan's and St. Patrick's schools are very grateful for all your prayers as they prepare for their Confirmation. Parents may add their child's name to a card if they did not already do so.

eLearning at the Library

Computer Classes for beginners and improvers are currently taking place in Bray and Ballywaltrim Libraries. They are free of charge and cover subjects such as email, Word Processing, Internet use etc. Class timetables are very flexible with all sessions taking place in the morning or early afternoon. CAR PARKING

We would ask parishioners and visitors
to kindly observe the road markings in the Church Grounds
which are there for the purpose of regulating the flow of traffic in the Church grounds and also to the Presbytery,

and to ensure that access is always available for emergency vehicles. i.e. Ambulance and Fire Service .

We ask you not to park on any of the yellow lines, as incorrect parking has caused severe obstruction in the past two weeks. Thank You.


PLEASE DO NOT leave anything visible on the seats of your car if attending Mass, Funerals, etc. as a number of cars have been tampered with.

Holy Communion for those with Coeliac condition



For anyone who is unable to receive the Host and would like to receive from the Chalice, you are welcome to come forward after the priest has distributed Communion to the congregation.
Please come forward to the first step.

For weekday Masses (Monday - Saturday)
those who usually receive from the Chalice are invited to come forward with the Eucharistic Ministers at the beginning of the Our Father

SECURITY

It has come to our attention that cars are being watched by opportunists, 

Please Do Not leave valuables visible in your cars.


Neighbourhood Watch indicates that burglaries are occurring between 5pm & 7pm in particular. Please leave a light on in your home, even if you are only leaving for a few minutes. Keep an eye on your elderly neighbours. Also do not leave anything visible in your car in the Church car parks or shopping centres.

Be aware and take care.

We have a new Book Stand situated at the back of the church beside the statues of St. Teresa and St. Joseph

Booklets and papers are on sale.

We also have our Parish Library<

If you wish to borrow a book, please donate €1.00 and return it back at your convenience in order that somebody else maybe interested in reading the book.

All the books are spiritual, religious, scripts or life enriching.

If you wish to donate a good book please drop in to the parish offices.
