Anam Cara monthly parent evening on Monday 11th January 2016 from 7:30­9:00pm in

Dominic’s Community Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 (weather dependent). All Anam Cara

Services are available free of charge to bereaved parents.

Liturgy Seminar The next liturgy seminar will take place on Saturday 30th January from

9.30 am ­ 1.00 pm in Clonliffe College. Input will include further liturgical resources for

the Jubilee of Mercy in addition to workshops on two recent publications ­ one on liturgical

music and the other on gathering on a weekday when Eucharist is not celebrated. Full

details in Litmus newsletter later this week.

Consecrated Life A service to conclude the Year for Consecrated Life will take place in

the Church of St. Therese, Mount Merrion on Tuesday 2nd February at 7.30 pm. All

welcome.

The Irish Hospice Foundation has released the brochure for a series of workshops on

Loss and Bereavement for 2016. The workshops are targeted at professionals and

volunteers working with people who have experienced a major loss, and will be held in

the Irish Hospice Foundation, Bereavement Education & Resource Centre, Morrison

Chambers, 32 Nassau Street, Dublin 2. Cost: 1­day workshop €100, 2­day workshop

€190.

Aware Volunteering Opportunities Aware, the national organisation providing support

and information to individuals and families impacted by depression and bipolar disorder,

is now recruiting new volunteers to train on a number of services. Aware was this year

awarded the Investing in Volunteering Standard in recognition of the level of training and

support it provides for its 400 volunteers. See aware.ie for specific info and requirements

for all volunteering opportunities including the Aware Support Line (phone); Support Mail

(email); Support Groups (face­to­face), and Life Skills (Online) programmes. Minimum

commitment is 18 months. Help Aware continue to be a supporting light through
